1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking an excursion, submitting payment, or participating in any experience offered by Roatan Elite Excursion Services, you ("the Guest") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Scope of Services

Roatan Elite Excursion Services acts as a concierge and booking coordinator for private and curated experiences in Roatan, Honduras. Our services include facilitating:

  • Guided Activities: Cultural tours, farm visits, and island excursions.

  • Water Excursions: Private boat charters and snorkeling experiences.

  • Logistics: Transportation and coordination with independent local operators and service providers.

3. Booking and Financial Policies

  • Reservations: Booking is not guaranteed until a formal payment confirmation is received. Prices remain subject to change until the reservation is finalized.

  • Payment: Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking.

  • Guest Responsibility: Guests are responsible for providing accurate cruise ship arrival and departure details. Roatan Elite Excursion Services is not liable for timing issues resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Guest.

  • We accept payment via credit card, PayPal, or other methods as indicated during checkout.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Standard cancellation terms are as follows, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking:

  • Non-Refundable: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled excursion and "no-shows" are non-refundable.

  • Refund Processing: Eligible refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled excursion and "no-shows" are non-refundable.

  • Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel excursions due to severe weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen operational issues. In these instances, guests will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.

5. Cruise Ship & Timing Responsibility

It is the Guest's sole responsibility to ensure they return to their cruise ship on time. Roatan Elite Excursion Services is not liable for missed ship departures caused by:

  • Traffic or port authority delays.

  • Adverse weather or environmental conditions.

  • Late arrival of guests at designated meeting points.

  • Any acts or delays beyond our reasonable control.

  • Roatan Elite Excursion Services is NOT affiliated with any cruise line and operates independently. We strongly recommend guests allow adequate buffer time (minimum 1 hour before ship departure) when planning return timing.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability

  • Inherent Risks: Participation in island excursions involves inherent risks, including water-based activities, physical exertion, and transportation. By booking, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities.

  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the excursion. We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, loss of personal belongings, or the acts/omissions of third-party providers.

  • Independent Operators: While we partner with vetted local providers, we do not exercise direct control over their operations and are not responsible for their independent actions.

  • Guests may be required to sign a liability waiver prior to participating in certain activities.

  • In no event shall Roatan Elite Excursion Services' total liability exceed the amount paid by the guest for the specific excursion in question.

7. Force Majeure

Roatan Elite Excursion Services is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, government restrictions, or port closures.

8. Intellectual Property & Governing Law

  • Website Content: All branding, logos, images, and text on www.roatanelite.com are the exclusive property of Roatan Elite Excursion Services and may not be reproduced without written consent.

  • Legal Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by applicable laws, and any disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate legal channels.

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Honduras. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Honduras, at Roatan Elite's discretion.

  • ​Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passport (if required by cruise line), government-issued ID, and compliance with all cruise line shore excursion policies.

9. Age Requirements

  • Certain excursions may have minimum age requirements. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Age restrictions for specific activities will be noted at time of booking.

10. Photography and Media Release

  • Roatan Elite Excursion Services may photograph or video excursions for promotional purposes. By participating, guests consent to the use of their likeness in marketing materials unless they notify us in writing prior to the excursion.
